Deep Tropics and Deep Culture (Our Non-Profit) believe that caring for the Earth is connected to caring for ourselves and our community. We have developed the best systems to reach our goals and show the world that with the right intention, anything is possible.

ZERO WASTE PROGRAM

• No Trash Cans On-Site

• All Materials Either Compostable or Recyclable

• Reusable Cup Program (Stainless Steel Cups w/ Carabiner)

• Terracycle Program to Recycle the “Impossible Items” (Cigarette Buts/Micro Plastics)

• No Single Use Plastics

CLIMATE POSITIVE EVENT

Our mission is to create more energy than we use. We partner with Trees for Future to plant thousands of fruit-bearing trees in Tanzania to offset our carbon footprint. We also work with third-party group Green Disco to collect our data and calculate our carbon and waste footprint - to always ensure we have a net-positive impact.

OTHER INITIATIVES

• Battery Powered Generators from Sunbelt that turn any diesel generator into a hybrid power system, reducing fuel consumption typically by 40-60%

• Annual Tree-planting at our festival site, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park
